Program Analyst

As a Program Analyst your duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Work with Washington Office Headquarters staff and other Regional Service programs to implement a comprehensive facilities maintenance program. Collect and analyze Fish and Aquatic Conservation (FAC) Program data on maintenance, construction, accomplishments, and other management and program evaluations generated in response to departmental or Service initiatives. Complete Regional-level Service Asset and Maintenance Management System (SAMMS) quality control to ensure work is accurate, reliable, technically and grammatically complete, conforms with established land, wildlife, and property management principles, complies with Service policies and procedures, and meets established response dates. Serve as Regional and Program representative for national Asset Management Coordinator, SAMMS, and Real Property Inventory conferences. Provide guidance and oversight of processing of data from field stations and use of automated information systems pertaining to asset management (SAMMS, FBMS, and the real property inventory). Serve as Fleet Coordinator, primary or alternate Tenant Manager, and/or station safety coordinator for FAC Program. Promotion Potential:
This position involves a multi-grade career ladder. The major duties listed represent the full performance level of GS-12. At lower grade levels, you will perform assignments of a more limited scope and with less independence. You will progressively acquire the background necessary to perform at the full performance level of GS-12. Only experience and education obtained by 11/20/2020 will be considered. In order to qualify for this position you must possess the Minimum Qualification. Minimum Qualification GS-11 One year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility equivalent to grade GS-9 in the Federal service performing work related to the maintenance or management of real property, fleet vehicles, and/or equipment. Examples of such experience may include providing guidance to field personnel by interpreting policies, laws, and/or regulations regarding asset management; assisting staff at all levels with utilizing automated information systems including data input, report extraction, and access; assisting with policy development and recommending guidance for proper data collection and review; or utilizing data management (e.g., spreadsheets, databases, tracking systems) and/or enterprise asset management software to collect and analyze data. Minimum Qualification GS-12 One year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility equivalent to grade GS-11 in the Federal service performing work related to the maintenance or management of real property, fleet vehicles, and/or equipment. Examples of such experience may include serving as the local subject matter expert on asset management topics, including requirements and regulations, maintenance programs, and automated information systems; developing policy and guidance for proper data collection and review; utilizing data management (e.g., spreadsheets, databases, tracking systems) and/or enterprise asset management software to collect and analyze data; developing, reviewing, and recommending improvements to automated information systems and minimizing redundancy with other systems; and using independent judgment to interpret or adapt available guidelines and directives, or reviewing or preparing new or modified guidelines and directives, to meet assignment needs. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
