Responsibilities:
In this role you will:
Oversee the planning, development, and execution of global ESI and investor programs, including customizing entrepreneurship training curriculum from VentureWell's library for the appropriate global audience. Identify and broker partnerships with in-country partners in the innovation ecosystem in line with program goals. Assess local/regional entrepreneurship ecosystems around the globe and engage directly with early stage innovators, investors, entrepreneur support organizations and funders in order to position our programming to best support them. Represent both the organization and funder interests during site visits, events, and meetings. Act independently as program liaison with the Department of State and other funder Points of Contact (POCs); tactfully deliver timely information between funder and staff. Translate high-level proposals and awards into tangible and practical workplans. Seek new funding opportunities and develop new programming for VentureWell and contribute leadership to global strategy development, working closely with the Growth Strategy and Development Team and Program staff. Play a leadership role in the fundraising, branding, promotion, and marketing of programs as well as the reporting of program outcomes. Prepare and synthesize written material for proposals and reports to funders. Work closely with the Learning and Evaluation team to ensure relevant assessment metrics are used for evaluating workshops and documenting learning, knowledge, and impact. Set and oversee program budgets and deliver programs within budget constraints. Manage activities, contracts, and sub-contracts to ensure compliance with award deliverables, rules, and obligations. Develop and cultivate relationships and strategic partnerships to support organizational venture development goals. Actively build and maintain a network of high-quality and aligned mentors and instructors for the ESI Portfolio. Work across ESI programs to align training and opportunities with the organization's ESI pipeline development strategy. Source and manage instructors, mentors, partners, and consultants assigned to program and provide leadership to cross-organizational colleagues partnering on programs. Contribute ESI expertise to program area, and leverage domain knowledge to develop content for new offerings, synthesize lessons learned into program design evolution, and provide thought leadership across the Program team. Use domain experience to deliver programming across ESI programs - including group conversation facilitation, presenting and teaching directly in a front of classroom role, and one-on-one engagements with participants (e.g. students, investors, entrepreneurs, professionals, etc.). Work towards actively advancing equity in the scope of individual performance goals, and broader contributions to VentureWell's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Actively participate in internal collaboration and communication to ensure program success through use of project management tools and practices including project kick-off and ongoing management. Requirements:
BS/BA or equivalent preferred; graduate degree in relevant disciplines preferred Minimum 7 years related experience including program design and administration, with domain experience in fields related to VentureWell program areas (entrepreneurship, science and technology startups, equity investment ecosystems (angels/VC) Previous experience in designing, leading, and implementing programs in low/middle income country context Significant experience in collaborating with higher education, foundation, and/or government agency funding staff and their related working environments Outstanding written and oral communication skills with an ability to articulate and synthesize information in a compelling and organized manner; Effective and skilled presenter Ability to extract key information and data to solve problems and inform decision making Experience (work or lived) with groups identifying as marginalized by racism, sexism, or classism Demonstrated history of success utilizing project management skills, including ability to meet deadlines and coordinate multiple tasks with a wide range of stakeholders Comfort and experience delivering trainings or content related to domain experience online and in person Ability to succeed and thrive in an environment with competing and changing priorities and tight deadlines Track record of and ability to build solid, collaborative working relationships; strong team player who enjoys customer service orientation to collaboration internally and externally Self-starter with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work Highly adaptable and comfortable working with a degree of ambiguity Ability to understand and apply appropriate tools and technologies used in the workplace; ease with adapting new technologies as needed High degree of digital fluency using cloud-based office tools such as GSuite, CRMs, team collaboration tools, and other web-based applications; ability to incorporate these tools into day to day work Across the board, VentureWell staff:

Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Program ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
